The Historically Black Colleges and Universities Tour provides a unique opportunlity to experience firest-hand some of our finest Historically Black Colleges and Universities. While on tour, students discover a climate of support in which generations of students have been taught that no one can limit their horizons. Join us for an excting six day tour!

Tour Coordinator: Barbara Evans – Ms. Evans is a former program administrator for Elk Grove Unified School District and has served as the HBCU Tour coordinator for nine years. She is very knowledgeable, efficient, and experienced in the areas of group travel and tour planning.

The Tour Includes: Roundtrip airfare from Sacramento, six days and five nights hotel accommodations in quality hotels (Embassy Suites-Hilton, Inc.), land transportation in air-conditioned motor coaches, campus orientation tours, meetings with college admission officials, daily meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks) adult chaperone ratio of approximately 1 to 10, professional night time security, and pre-departure orientation meetings in Elk Grove/Sacramento, Lodi/Stockton, and Modesto, California.

The tour departs June 17, 2012 and returns June 22, 2012

Price: The total price of the tour is $1690. The tour’s cost is payable in one payment or installments. (Adult Chaperone price double occupancy is $1795).

Installment Payments: After the initial $415.00 deposit ($200.00 non-refundable) is paid, the balance of the tour cost is due in three equal installment payments of $425.00 each. These payments are due on or before the following days: January 12, March 8, and May 3, 2012. There will be a meeting for All Tour Participants on May 3, 2012 at Valley High School in Sacramento, CA.


Returned checks for insufficient funds and late payments will be assessed a $25.00 processing fee. (See payment agreement in registration packet)

 Cancellation Policy: Refunds (minus the non-refundable deposit and airline ticket restrictions) will be made if notice of cancellation is received in writing on or before April 16, 2012. NO REFUNDS after April 16, 2012.
