Noglia Rowe-Leach Memorial Scholarship
|
Scholarship History
Noglia Rowe-Leach was a life long resident of Sacramento and was a wonderful wife, mother; Nana, sister and friend who showed unconditional love to all. She loved God and was a faithful member of her church as well as a devoted family matriarch. She was extremely proud of the success of the U-CAN organization and the impact it made on the lives of the students it serves. Noglia wanted to devote her time and service to U-CAN when she retired from her job but her illness and untimely death prevented her from doing so. The Rowe-Leach family has established the Noglia Rowe-Leach Memorial Scholarship so that her legacy lives on and her desire to see young people pursue a higher education at a Historically Black College or University (HBCU) is realized.
